Hello fellow members, welcome to 2012. I am so excited about this year and all the wonderful programs we have planned for you. Let me start off by announcing our chapter has achieved the circle of excellence status again this year. Congratulations to all of you. This prestigious award demonstrates that our chapter has increased membership and has provided outstanding programs as well as delivered value to our membership. Now we have one final task for all of you to complete that will ensure our chapter achieves the Presidents Circle for 2011. We are asking each of you to complete a short three question survey. If 20% of our members and meeting attendees vote and rate us as a four we will achieve this prestigious classification. We will be offering a computer at our Feb 2012 meeting for all attendees to vote. We will offer a special prize drawing for anyone who votes. If you attend the Feb meeting and vote at the meeting you will be entered into two drawings. The first will be the drawing at the end of the Feb meeting for everyone who completes the survey at the meeting. The winner will receive a 25.00 gift card on the spot. In addition, you will be entered into a grand prize drawing along with those who complete the survey remotely to win a Kindle Fire. We will award this prize after the deadline to complete the survey. HDI Capital Area Local Chapter is a non-profit chapter of HDI www.ThinkHDI.com, the premier worldwide membership association for the IT Service and Support industry, serving the Washington DC metro area, including Northern Virginia and nearby Maryland.

Our mission is to provide quality programs designed to inspire and motivate personal and professional growth. Our regularly scheduled meetings foster an atmosphere to share camaraderie, inspiration and knowledge with colleagues in the industry featuring subject matter experts, group discussions, networking opportunities and HDI Training and Certification events.

Meetings are held at various locations to allow participation by all interested individuals and organizations. Membership to HDI is encouraged to attend Capital Area Local Chapter meetings, but not required.
