We want to formally invite you to participate in the Capital Area Awards Program and ask that you share this with the appropriate teams within your company. Everyone is struggling to recognize their stars and we are providing a complete program - all you need to invest is a bit of time to complete the brief nomination form. You DO NOT need to be a member to participate.
All nominees and their managers will be honored guests at our Annual Awards Luncheon in December.
Every nominee will receive a framed certificate and be recognized at the luncheon.
The nomination is completed and submitted via the internet. You can stop and start the form (and not lose any changes) if you complete it on the same computer. For your convenience, I have also included the word documents with the questions in case you would rather answer the questions on a document, then copy and paste into the online form. You never know with technology, so I find it helpful to use the copy paste method to ensure you don't lose any work.

Your return is truly a heartwarming event that has become a year-end celebration for our teams. We encourage members to nominate your outstanding Analysts and Technicians as follows (you may submit 2 nominees in each category and you do not need to be a member to participate).
NOMINATION STEPS (IT'S EASY)!
- Go to http://www.thinkhdi.com/events/awards.aspx
- Select Analyst or Desktop to review the nomination criteria
- Create a login (or log into your account if you participated last year).
- Submit your online nomination by Friday, November 10th.
Note: The nomination form is very brief and requires only the following:
- Help Desk Analyst/Desktop Support Technician’s Name, Company & Contact information
- A paragraph describing the individual’s achievements (why you are nominating them)
- Nominator/Manager’s name and contact information (this is collected when you create your login)
Once you have completed your nomination, we will send instructions to complete Step 2 (the optional longer application). While all nominees will be recognized, your nominee will have a better chance winning if you complete the additional form questions.
The local chapter Analyst of the Year and Desktop Support Technician of the Year will compete for the regional award and regional winners then compete for the global award. The winner of the Regional Analyst of the Year and Desktop Support Technician Award will receive a free registration to the Annual Conference courtesy of Robert Half Technology.

OPTIONAL STEP 2
After you complete the nomination form, you will receive an email inviting you to answer additional he additional questions. As noted above, you can choose to only complete the short form to have your nominee honored at the luncheon, but your nominee will have a better chance winning if you answer the additional questions.
This is the form the judges will use to score the candidates. We will reach out to schedule a 10-minute recorded interview with the candidate in mid-November and the judges will also use this as part of their scoring criteria. All nominees will be honored and receive a frame certificate at the luncheon, where the winner will be announced.
